My kind of Christmas
Christmas this Year has been by far one of the best ones i've had.
This Christmas has been one of much joy and love, and again I am reminded of the reason i'm living as well as what i'm living for.

I guess its been so special cus of the things that've happened throughout the season, the things i have done and learnt, but above all, its the people that made this Christmas season so perfect.

There was Rhema rush, the conference of the year. It was magical. absolutely fantastic. I could feel His presence in every thing i did. It gave me purpose, and the conference albeit being exhausting, was fulfilling. I got to know so many people better, and we had a totally fun fun time. I was especially grateful for the 6 emcees of this generation. There was the eccentric joey, our shifu. There was mel the crazy chipmunk who was set off laughing over anything. There was Racheal, the angel and a constant bringer of laughter. There was Joseph, our serious macho-man with the deep voice and his Escargots. And there ws Daniel Kerpal the crazy fella who cracked us up all the time.

From left to right, Racheal Kerpal Melancholy Jameh Yosefine and Joey!

Le' Escargot's!

We did preliminaries together, we stayed up late into the night hanging out, planning and chilling out together, and i must say, i'm so grateful for you guys. Doing God's work does involve a whole tad of fun too you know? (=

And then there was the G2 Christmas carnival, a great lesson for us all youths in the Dance Ministry. Who are we dancing for?

Next came Christmas Eve and Christmas service! It was really fun. The atmosphere was terrific. Everyone exchanging gifts, greetings and hugs, shouts and flashes from cameras. The Christmas cheer was definitely in the house of God this Christmas. And then we sang this lovely song..what is it? Emmanuel has come. or something. I can still remember the lyrics!!

"Christmas is about His Glory, Christmas is about His grace... (somethingsomething)... ... (And the Chorus goes) For God is with us, and we celebrate the glory of His presence. God has come, to fill our hearts with love. He came to save us, King of Kings and Lord of Lords, His name was Jesus...God with us, Emmanuel has come."

G2 Christmas service with Norman, me, and my two babies, Shermine and Jessica.

Joey's two proteges! Replication in process. we're just. prettier. heh.=P

HAHAHA. Norman and I. Norman's baboonish-tryingnottosmile face cracks me up!

And yes, Emmanuel means 'God with us'. I remembered that this Christmas! (=

Well well, my Christmas was spent mostly with my church, dancing and emceeing, parties here and there, dinners, a movie with Hammy and his Brother and two cousins Claire and Gillian, and a funky home family dinner.

My serve of posh home-made dinner. Beef flambe anyone?

My very first of alchohol. Wine? Or raspberry vodka with coke?

Heehee. Yes, i had my first of alchohol too this Christmas. Can't say it was to my liking. Though i guess it wasn't too bad either. I dunno if its a first time thing, but i felt kinda tipsy after such a little whisk of it, and i accidentally deleted this very nice picture of Johann and I from my camera)=. Jamie sad. and Johann goes HRMPH. Sorry man. Next christmas! haha. Stupid alchohol. Anyway, after that we did what most kids do..we ripped off wrapping paper and oggled at our gifts.

My crazy family and our actcutei'majapaneseanimecharacter pose under our lovely tree!

My mom and dad hankypankying. Daddy was trying to steal mom's present=D

Gifts definitely aren't the most important things in the season for christmas, but i must say, some gifts and cards really did make my day. It was through the sweet messages and little things that I was reminded of all the people who cared for me, all the people i was blessed with. For that, i have only God to thank! (=

The tipsy sister and her gh3y brother. Strike a pose!

Truly, this Christmas season's been amazing. I couldn't ask for more.

Well, watchnight service is coming soon. I'm all geared up and excited!

Are you? (=

Emmanuel has come,

Jamie!

Yous a cows.

Now that i'm halfway through my holidays, i dont really know what to feel. November has been awesome. sweet november. my calender has been packed back to back everyday with activities, dance trainings in church, meetings, lunches, trips with friends, squash games, baking and lots of christmas shopping.

Did i tell you that i love Christmas? because i do. Its the season of love and joy. Something all men on earth can celebrate. I know Christmas isn't till three weeks later, but i simply love basking in the christmas season.

I have never learnt to cherish my holidays, not until i came to njip. It really taught me what work was, and because of that, i've learnt to appreciate my holidays and every bit of free time i have alot more. This holiday, i can safely say i've been having a blast. I've done many crazy things.. many things that have helped me grow physically and spiritually. And for that I'm thankful. Amidst all the fun i'm having, I feel so very thankful.

This holiday, i am thankful for:
1) My family who has been my crazy crew, that i am now able to spend lotsa time with them. My brother who has safely landed in singapore, and who is now having a great time catching up on singaporean life. Its been great spending time with him here, just having him near our family again.

2) My cousin wennie who has always been my childhood best friend, is also back in singapore. I am thankful for him and his ever funny ways. Never fails to crack me up, that guy. Both of us have been watching movies and anime at his place till late at night. Just having him here is wonderful.

3) Kim and Enqin, the bestest girlfriends anyone could ask for. We had a sleepover just the other night. It was great. We watched movies that made us laugh and cry..stuffed ourselves with food, and slept reeeally late. We peeled prawns together. (= I am so thankful for them.. they make my world a brighter place.. kim and her fetish for forcing us to appreciate indian bollywood movies. And enqin and her crazy love for baking. We made oreo cream cheesecake. mmmm. i like.

4) Dance ministry. Our dance practices and meetings have never failed to bring me one step closer to God. Just being around them makes me feel closer to God. I've learnt many things from this bunch of guys. And I can say i'm serving with pride. Serving because God has blessed me with gifts. And i'm giving back what He gave to me.

5) Made with Love. have you ever been there? Its at plaza singapura. and it heaven for me. Its an Art shop which sells scrapping material. I melt there. I spent a total of 3hours there on Friday with nicholas. Go see for yourself.

6) The piano. Because i play on it everyday for about 2hours now. Whether its for my exam or just being lost in playing it. Playing from the book of Hymns. I feel his presence whenever i play his songs.

7) God. For giving me this time to grow while having so much fun.

What are you thankful for?

And again i say rejoice,
Jamie.
